Fox's Forest Dense+forest+of+material+enjoyment+2+2009-11-01+IMGP8062

The dense jungle-ike forest is shaded by tall ferns of an unknown species along with many other plants that aren't seen anywhere else in the territory. The forest got it's name by a mighty fox that once protected this forest, but that was no less than seven-hundred years ago!

Animals That Dwell Here: Foxes, wolves, hawks, pigions, hares, mule deer, white tailed deer, red deer, elk, black bears, grizzly bears, spiders, flies, stick insects

-From The Fire-Leaf Border-

Tasha, the grey-ish she-wolf with the blue scarred-over eye, entered the area, sniffing everything as she went. She was looking for prey so she could start her own little hunt. She flattened her ears when she caught a scent, it was a small herd of white tailed deer. Tasha picked herself up from the ground and silently made her way across the terrain, following the scent.

The young doe perked her ears as her herd suddenly vanished. What was wrong? It was a lovely day in the orange and deep green forest, only foxes lived here... And that one... Wolf that kills... The white tailed deer leaped away, only to trip and break her leg in the fall. She struggled to get up but she leapt up and started away.

Tasha's heart pounded within her chest as the injured doe burst into such a run. Tasha slowly started to jog, then that turned into a run, and finally a bolt. She kept her left eye locked on the fleeing beast as she bonded after, her tongue lolling out of her mouth as she panted. It flapped in the breeze while she ran, her long legs barely touched the ground below. 'I gotta catch up!' This hunt had turned into a chase...

The young doe struggled to keep ahead of the wolf, it was just behind her! It would be hopeless to keep running with a leg completely broken! But this doe wasn't going to give up! The doe made a sharp turn and stood right in front of the wolf in a defending manner, if this wolf were to attack she would fight back!

Tasha noticed the deer starting to turn in the shape of a U. Tasha worked fast and quickly turned as the deer started heading strait toward her but slightly to the right. The wolf quickly lunged at the deer's neck, getting a hold she clamped down hard hoping to cut off it's air. Oh how she held on tight, this was going to be her dinner!

The doe gasped for air, her legs kicked thin air but she couldn't reach the wolf. She could feel her life slowly slipping away, why didn't she dodge?! The deer tried swinging her neck around to get the canine off, but thus is was no use. She'd be dinner in just an hour or less...

Tasha snarled as the doe moved around, she just sank her teeth even deeper into the flesh, and growled. The low rumbling noise echoed through her throat making it sound like some monster lived within her, there was, well... That's what she thought. But all she cared about was the deer and her dinner! Tasha placed her back legs onto the ground to help balance herself, she started swinging herself side to side, playing tug-of-war almost. But this was to topple the deer to the ground so it would be easier to kill it.

The doe moaned loudly, calling for her herd but they were too far. Her breathing grew heaving, having the wolf almost blocking all air. She stared into the blue eye of the wolf that showed the many souls that she had killed, prey and wolf alike. 'This wolf was something that everyone should fear, for her thirst of blood.' She felt her life slip away, within three minutes on the ground, she was laying there lifeless. Now she was nothing more than a carcass, dinner to a wolf.

Tasha released her grip of the creature. She licked her chops, just looking at it; She had worked up an appetite. But first she thanked the world for such an easy kill; She had hunted many before that had been ten times as harder, and some she didn't kill at all! She sniffed the area for any danger; There were none, thank goodness! Tasha started eating the choice cuts for a wolf, that filled her up very fast. Very good quality meat would fill one up easily! "Yum, fantastic food..."

After licking away the blood and who-knows-what from her fur, properly grooming and cleaning it, she took hold of one of the legs of the cow and started tugging it away to her den that she had settled in.
